Something strange is happening in Miami this year, because it actually feels like Fall and I'm actually excited about it. This subtle breeze just makes me want to do all the Thanksgiving DIY's on my pinterest board (which probably won't happen, knowing me, but I'll try!).
For yeaaaars this outfit has been my go to outfit every "Fall", and let me just say that I've practically been living in my leather shorts (pleather to be exact). For the past couple of Fall seasons I've noticed that leather clothing pieces only get more intricate and "in style" so they were definitely one of the best clothing items I've ever bought. For this outfit I decided to keep it monochromatic with my leather Vans slip-ons, and a black chiffon top that has some leather scraps arranged all across the front. This top is the bomb-freaking-diggiddy because all in all it's a basic black top so you can dress it up or dress it down, and the design on the front only makes the outfit more interesting (which never hurts). I found this top at H&M years ago, and it was only $5, such a steal! To top everything off, I wore a cardigan that has some distressing in the back that add some grunge-y vibes. If you own a pair of pleather shorts, pairing it with a sweater or cardigan adds a nice contrast in texture, especially if you have that oversized chunky knit, and the two will never fail you. If you're feeling' edgy, throw on a pair of kicks while your at it, and if not booties will suit the season well.
Have a great rest of your week!
