First off, I'd like to take a moment to honor the necklaces featured in this post and for all the necklaces I brought with me on this short vacation. These two will forever be at this beach in Mexico, and the other two necklaces I brought will be traveling the world on a Carnival cruise ship where I wish them all the best....Kill me. Long story short, I tend to lose things a lot, SO I thought it would be smart to hang the necklaces that I was wearing on the beach umbrella we were at while we snorkeled . They were practically dangling in my face so I wouldn't forget them, but you guys know how that ended. As for the other two, I forgot them on the ship (where I also hung them on the sprinkler in the room... so they could be in plain site...).
Anyways, I'm so excited about this outfit! There's nothing like putting something together out of things you've had in your closet for a long time. This "vest" is actually a peasant, babydoll shirt that buttons up, and I never knew how to wear without just pairing it with your basic pair of shorts. I decided to open it up and layer it with this crop top that I've had for almost a year now. Crochet is so in this summer, and I'm obsessed! In this heat, it's such an easy material to wear, and it's also a nice texture to pair with print! I decided to layer these two gorgeous necklaces (RIP) that have an antique-y look to them that play nicely with the wine color in my "vest". This outfit was so light and breezy, it was perfect for a day of adventure in Cozumel, Mexico.
