You know what's wild? My sense of personal style has evolved so much over the past couple of years... it's such a crazy thing to reflect upon. Anyways, before I get all sentimental about growing older and shit...
This is a very special outfit.
This me stepping the hell out of my comfort zone. If you know me, you know I don't do well with pants. BUT, I laid eyes on these stellar pants during the final days of Zara's sale, and I had to get them(plus they were on sale for $13). They are all about that retro 90's punk-y vibe I've been digging, and I decided I had to give styling these a try. I wanted to keep the vibes tomboyish and paired the plaid with my Sk8-hi Vans. On the other hand, I wanted to keep things flirty and girly with this off the shoulder top. Looking back, I almost wish I threw on a cute scarf around my neck or one of those french hats, but this'll do (baby steps).
One of my favorite things about this look is how well it contrasted with the lusciousness of Miami's Ironside. This place is hands down one of my favorite places to go to in Miami. It houses so many low-key gems, like Ironside Pizza, and is such a great spot to take some pics (if you haven't seen the magic that Jeanne and I created here in my previous blog post, click here!) After the photoshoot Yash, Jeanne and I indulged in some pizza and it was delicious!
