Hey Friends! Yashi (check out her look here!) and I were recently able to head to the Free People store to visit Brittany, who shot the photos, and pic out outfits to shoot! Thank goodness Brittany has so much patience because we literally took an hour to style because everything was so cute!
I decided to go with something casual that I would legitimately wear anywhere...brunch, lunch, HH (aka Happy Hour), to a getty, and even to an event! When I first laid eyes on this skirt (ps. I bought one in white hehe) I fell in love! I feel like those tortoise buttons are a huge trend right now...especially off-set. Plus, a skirt is so easy that you can dress it up or down and even layer it with some outerwear if you're in the mood ;).
The shirt was something that I liked because it kinda still plays with the off-set buttons, and is a peasant-vibe. The sleeves are like clouds: puffy and beautiful. I wanted to fall asleep on them. Not to mention the embroidery was a nice little touch as well.
I feel like the color palette to this outfit is really simple, and low key I feel like that's what I tend to go towards these days. Carrying more neutrals are these awesome Old Skool Weave Dx Vans with their iconic stripe woven instead of stitched on. How cool?! They're definitely giving me that boho vibe, and I can dig it.
Shop the look below guys, hope you enjoyed!
